the weekend before a much needed break

this weekend was very much needed in my book
i haven't been getting enough sleep lately and it was amazing to sleep in for once
plus, today was very productive, cleaned the house, caught up on some schoolwork, worked out, and have even been able to catch a few moments of College Football for the first time in awhile
i'm also excited because i only have two more days of class (monday and tuesday) before i get to go home for Thanksgiving
i don't know about you guys, but Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of all
there are lots of reasons, but here are my top 5

1. Turkey and stuffing are awesome, and could be eaten for any meal of the day
2. Family and friends are great to hang out with, especially during the holidays
3. There are no presents and last minute shopping to take away from the meaning of the season
4. There is no school for at least 2 days (for me, I get 3!)
5. Sharing all the many things I have to be thankful for is a great reminder of God's faithfulness

so, there you have it, why Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and why I am very happy to have a break coming up soon
