We are relaxing and enjoying the first part of our vacation to North Carolina, we can't wait.
Here's an update.
On the first rotation of my senior year, I (Myron) was on large animal anesthesia. Over the two weeks we drugged a lot of horses for various surgeries and it was great experience. We also were able to take a field trip to Harris Farms horse ranch (close to the feedlot) where we anesthetized foals for minor leg surgeries. The surgeries were necessary to straighten their legs for racing. 
Over 4th of July weekend, we were able to have Luke and Lauren Alsborg over at our apartment. This is a picture of Luke on Myron's back at the Sacramento Zoo.
Around Davis this time of year, there are beautiful fields of sunflowers. We stopped on our way home from berry picking to get this pic.

This past Friday evening, we went to Vacaville for their version of "Music in the Park". It was great blues music and best of all it was free.

Yea...a vacation for you two!! I'm so excited for you and to be able to both get away and spend time with family...you deserve it! Hope you have fun and enjoy the quality time together!
