i saw the stanley cup!

yep, that's right, the coveted cup was in Stockton, CA this weekend
my parents had tickets to a Stockton Grizzlies hockey game, so Andrea and I drove down to see the game with them
little did we know, the stanley cup was at the game on its tour of the us
can you believe there is actually a guy whose full-time job is to guard the thing and polish it?!?
anywho, i didn't touch it like some of the special people, but,
i saw it through the windows of the arena as we were waiting outside to get in
it's actually a lot smaller than i thought it would be, but still very cool
so that's brings me to my picture of the day . . .

for those who don't know, the stanley cup is the championship trophy for the NHL (like the Vince Lombardi trophy in football)

other highlights of the weekend:

1. spending time with andrea (even better than seeing the cup!)
2. watching the movie Guess Who (i give it two thumbs up, very funny!)
3. studying for a nutrition test on monday (easy)
4. celebrating chinese new year with friends
5. watching grey's anatomy (the only show i really watch consistently, so it's okay)
