best weekend of the year (so far)

this is the first time i have ever posted twice in one day
but that is only because i fixed the picture on my last blog that wasn't viewable

this weekend was great
here's a brief rundown of my favorite activities

1. beautiful drive to san jose on friday (i talked the whole way on my cell phone to family/friends, free minutes!)
2. P.F. Chang's for dinner (seriously, some of the best chinese i've ever had, thanks to my cousin Aaron, who bought)
3. eating greek food with andrea (we always try something new everytime we see each other)
4. hanging out with Andrea and some of her coworkers on saturday night (fellow dordt grads john and brenda dejong)
5. drove to santa cruz and hiked along the coast (the waves are HUGE this time of the year)
6. went to church at Vintage Faith (if you ever are in santa cruz, this church is a must-go-to, absolutely amazing worship, and the message was about how you spend your time, i could always do a better job with mine)
7. read books and drank coffee at borders in a little town called los gatos (which translates to "the cats", cool, huh? i didn't see any though, so that was a little disappointing, me being a vet student and all)
8. eating breakfast this morning with andrea before she had to teach (coffee, eggs, sausage, and toast, i love breakfast so much, i could eat it for every meal)

that about sums it up, and now it is back to grind in davis
just finished studying for a test which is tomorrow
i'm ready for it though so that's good
