along with moving to a new place, i have had to get used to a lot of new things in my life, one of these things is finding a new church. i don't know how you all feel, but this can be intimidating, especially if you are in a community where you do not know anyone. since i have been in davis, i have been able to attend a new church, first baptist church of davis. the worship is awesome, the pastors preach straight from the word, and i have been able to attend a bible study and have met a number of people my age. but the question is, how attached do i become if i know that i probably will be moving away in the next four years? i haven't really been to other churches because i really like this one. should i be "shopping around" more? i know many others have been through these things as well and i would appreciate some feedback.
by the way, it sure is windy here today, i thought it only blew this hard in iowa.....:)

if you feel at home at the baptist church i would go for it even though you will be moving in 4 years. we did that serval times during our moving life and never reget it. you can remeber all the friends in the church and have a place to go back to when you return to campus. the main thing is you have a place to worship.
