christmas 2006

happy new year everyone!

can you believe it's already 2007
it seems like the new millenium was just a few years ago, i was still in high school, had no idea where i would be going to college, wasn't dating, wasn't even interested in dating, and now this is the best year of my life because i'm getting married to the love of my life, hmmm . . . time flies when you're having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have
as for the past month, if you can think of it, i've probably done it, or at least thought about doing it
the break from school was wonderful, just what i needed, and despite being busy, i feel like a new man starting this quarter of school, which is supposed to be the hardest of all my four years here at davis
the christmas holiday season was quite the busy for me (and andrea, of course)
a week with my family in california, then a week in the midwest with andrea's were highlighted by lots of good food, fun with friends at our first wedding shower, getting all our flights cancelled, playing in the snow, and of course planning for the wedding that is only 169 days away
that's right, the counter is turning :)
so, that's all for new
here are a few pics from the break
enjoy

cheers,
myronius
it finally snowed on the 31st, the second to last day we were in iowa

here i am making a snow angel, a pretty good one i'd say
the van wyk clan, i'm the only unconfirmed member so far, but not for long

settler's of catan, tim won both games, but kyle and i are taking him down next year

andrea, rebecca slagter, lori fey, sarah spronk, and lisa keuchenmeister at lori's baby shower

me, erika, ponch, and andrea at our wedding shower, it was a fondue party and we seem to be having too much fun with the fondue forks

the kamper klan, all 36 of us, andrea and i were supposed to be in iowa, but our flights were cancelled so we were able to see everyone again, we had a great time

here's my family, bryanna is the youngest and is a freshman at calvin, rosalee just turned 25 and is in grad school at loma linda university in southern california, my dad is still working hard on the dairy, my mom is trying to not think about empty nest, andrea is in her last few months at san jose christian school, and i'm almost halfway done with my second year in vet school
happy new year everyone!

Being that Tim did not receive Settlers for Christmas, and you know who did... he stands little chance of repeating his luck next year. But only time will tell.

I can tell that you have had a lot of fun this break. I can't wait to hear the stories straight from the "horses mounth".

I hope this quarter sails by quickly, but that you are also stretched and grow in your knowledge and skill of large farm animals--Andrea not included of course:)
